Connecticut Rugby State Championship

Rugby fans across the state have reason to get excited this weekend — the Connecticut Rugby State Championship is set to take place this Saturday, June 6th, at Tiger Hollow Stadium on the campus of Ridgefield High School.

The day kicks off at noon with the Froshmore Championship, featuring Greenwich High School taking on Fairfield Prep.

The action continues at 2 PM with the Division 2 Championship between Simsbury High School and Stamford Rugby Club; a re-match of last year's Division 2 Championship.

The day wraps up with the marquee Division 1 Championship at 4 PM, with Greenwich High School squaring off against Trumbull High School in what promises to be an exciting finish to the day.

Whether you're there to cheer on your team or just looking to catch some great rugby, there's plenty of action from start to finish. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to find a good spot before the first whistle at noon.

Admission is $10 per person, with tickets available at the gate. Payment is accepted in cash or via Venmo, so come prepared. It's a great value for a full day of championship-level rugby.
